Pursuant to Ordinance No. 851, the City has established a pay grade schedule for appointed officers and employees of the City of Edgerton. The normal work week for all full-time employees is forty hours and the City pays compensation at time and a half for all hours worked in excess of the forty hours for all non-exempt employees.
Employee Benefits All full-time City employees are eligible to join the City-approved group medical insurance plan. The City will pay 100% of the full-time employee's individual premium for the insurance coverage. The City will pay 50% of the full-time employee's dependents up to a maximum of $150 per month with the remainder of the dependent premium being pre-collected from the employee as a bi-monthly payroll deduction. The City also provides group vision, dental and life insurance. The following positions are not classified within the City's pay grade schedule: City Administrator: paid on contractual basis. City Treasurer: $180.25 per month City Attorney: $800.00 per month (Duties include attendance at City Council meetings, preparation of ordinances, advise, conferences and phone calls; all other services on contract basis for $100 per hour) Municipal Judge: $75.00 per hour for in-court sessions, $75.00 per hour for out-of-court preparation time and $15.00 travel fee. Prosecuting Attorney: $75.00 per hour for in-court sessions, $75.00 per hour for out-of-court preparation time and $15.00 travel fee. Court-Appointed Attorney: $75.00 per hour for in-court sessions and $75.00 per hour for out-of-court preparation time. |
