We would like to encourage citizens to take pride in their community by investing in their property and not allowing it to fall into disrepair. The City understands that it can be difficult to keep property properly maintained and clean. We must, however, be considerate of our neighbors and work to enhance our quality of life.

By picking up debris and trash, appropriately maintaining vehicles, mowing grass, tending to weeds and controlling one's pets, the City of Edgerton can become an even better place to live for all citizens.

City Code Officials will be working with residents to ensure that everyone does their part to keep Edgerton safe and clean. Some important items to consider:

• Grass and weeds need to be cut to six inches or less.
• Vehicles need to be legally registered and tagged, able to move by their own power and legally parked.
• Trash, debris, or other items not properly stored need to be cleaned up or removed from the property.
• Abandoned appliances need to be promptly removed from property.
• Dogs and cats need to be annually registered with the City and not allowed to run loose through the City.
• Dogs in heat need to be kept indoors or in a location where loose dogs cannot interact with them.
• Up to a maximum of three accessory uses such as boats, boat trailers, camper trailers, jet skis or other similar recreational vehicles are permitted to be parked only on side or rear yards unless the side yard is adjacent to a City street.
