Sanitary Sewer Improvements - Manhole 58a to 8 (ED-CDBG-2011-3) The City of Edgerton, Kansas is soliciting Requests for Proposals from interested parties to assist in the design of Sanitary Sewer Improvements for the City of Edgerton, Kansas (Project No. ED-CDBG-2011-3). The City requires an upgrade from an existing 8-inch clay sanitary sewer main and adjoining manholes to a 10-inch main and manholes to improve flow capacity for the developed parts of town. The City will be using a grant award from Johnson County’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program to pay for a portion of the Project costs. Wastewater Master Planning Services The City awarded a contract not to exceed $28,700 to Shafer, Kline, and Warren, Inc. for the provision of Wastewater Master Planning Services. The Plan is expected to be completed in May 2011. Belt Press Effluent Line Project City Council awarded this contract to Brown's Construction Company for a price of $19,400. DM and Associates, LLC will design the project. The City received only one bid for this project.
